Symmetric Affine Theories and Nonlinear Einstein-Proca System

چکیده
We review the correspondence between symmetric affine theories and the nonlinear Einstein-Proca system that was found by Einstein and Schrödinger. With the use of this correspondence, we investigate static spherically symmetric solutions in symmetric affine theory with no matter fields. Use of the correspondence leads to a significant simplification of the calculation. A special instance of “no-hair” theorem for symmetric affine theory is established. We use reduced Planck units in which c = 1, ~ = 1, 8πG = 1, ǫ0 = 1. Our sign convention is (−,+,+,+).

Gravity and Einstein-Proca-Weyl theories extended to a class of Scalar gravity theories
We extend the recently proved relation between certain models of Non-Riemannian gravitation and Einstein-Proca-Weyl theories to a class of Scalar gravity theories, this is used to present a Black-Hole Dilaton solution with non-Riemannian connection. متن کاملA numeric solution for metric-affine gravity and Einstein’s gravitational theory with Proca matter
A special case of metric-affine gauge theory of gravity (MAG) is equivalent to general relativity with Proca matter as source. We study in detail a corresponding numeric solution of the Reissner-Nordström type. It is static, spherically symmetric, and of electric type. In particular, this solution has no horizon, so it has a naked singularity as its origin.

– We present a 3-dimensional model for massive gravity with masses induced by topological (Chern-Simons) and Proca-like mass terms. Causality and unitarity are discussed at tree-level. Power-counting renormal-izability is also contemplated. It is well-known that the linearized Einstein Lagrangian is the only one that describes (consistently with locality, causality and tree-level unitarity) a m...
متن کاملPassivity-Based Stability Analysis and Robust Practical Stabilization of Nonlinear Affine Systems with Non-vanishing Perturbations
This paper presents some analyses about the robust practical stability of a class of nonlinear affine systems in the presence of non-vanishing perturbations based on the passivity concept. The given analyses confirm the robust passivity property of the perturbed nonlinear systems in a certain region. Moreover, robust control laws are designed to guarantee the practical stability of the perturbe...
